Altın Gün and Alex Maas appear at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles for a night of psychedelic-tinged rock and folk. Altın Gün is a Dutch–Turkish ensemble that modernizes Anatolian folk and 1970s Turkish rock with bright, funky arrangements and Turkish-language vocals. Alex Maas, known as the vocalist and co-founder of Austin psych-rock band The Black Angels, offers moody, reverb-heavy psychedelic rock as a solo performer or with accompanying musicians. The show takes place in the historic Orpheum Theatre, a longtime downtown Los Angeles live-music venue.
